What is BPC-157 & TB-500 Blend?

A pre-combined lyophilised blend of BPC-157 and TB-500 in a single vial, prepared so both sequences share one reconstitution volume and one batch certificate.

How it works

The blend pairs an angiogenesis-associated sequence with an actin-binding motility sequence, allowing researchers to model the vascular and migratory arms of repair together rather than in separate assays.

How to handle and reconstitute

  1. Allow the sealed 10mg vial to reach room temperature before opening the carton to prevent condensation on the lyophilised cake.
  2. Reconstitute by running bacteriostatic water slowly down the inner wall of the vial — never inject the stream directly into the powder.
  3. Swirl gently until fully dissolved. Do not shake: agitation shears peptide bonds and can lower assayed purity.
  4. Label the vial with the reconstitution date and store at 2–8°C, protected from light. Use within 28 days.

Research applications

  • Combined repair-pathway models
  • Synergy and dose-ratio experiments
  • Reduced-variable protocols using a single matched batch

Background

Research context, documentation and handling

Wider context for this research area, plus the documentation, dispatch and intended-use terms that apply to every vial we ship.

Tissue repair signalling in research models

Tissue repair is not one process but a sequence of overlapping ones: haemostasis, inflammation, proliferation and remodelling. Different compounds in this category act on different phases, which is why protocols frequently combine them and why interpreting a combined result requires understanding which phase each is influencing.

Angiogenesis-associated sequences are studied for their effect on new vessel formation, which determines whether a healing field receives oxygen and nutrients during the proliferative phase. Actin-binding sequences influence cytoskeletal reorganisation and therefore how quickly endothelial cells and keratinocytes migrate into that field. Matrix-active compounds affect collagen and metalloproteinase expression during remodelling, which determines the mechanical quality of the resulting tissue rather than the speed of closure.

Standard assays include scratch-wound closure in monolayer culture, tube formation in matrigel, and hydroxyproline quantification as a proxy for collagen deposition.

Practical notes for this category

Repair-pathway peptides are generally short and water-soluble, and most reconstitute cleanly in bacteriostatic water without acidification. Copper-complexed compounds are the exception to watch: the complex is what carries the metal into the cell, and conditions that strip or displace the copper change the molecule you are testing.

Because these compounds are frequently studied in combination, matched batch sets remove the ambiguity of attributing a combined result to one component's batch quality.

Documentation supplied with every vial

Each vial ships with its batch code printed on the label and a matching certificate of analysis published in the certificate library. The certificate records the assay date, the purity figure returned by high-performance liquid chromatography, and the identity confirmation from mass spectrometry. Quote the batch code in any enquiry and we can retrieve the underlying chromatogram rather than the summary record.

For reproducibility, record the compound, vial size, lot number and certified purity alongside your method. If a later batch behaves differently in the same assay, that record is what makes the comparison possible rather than a matter of recollection.

Dispatch and intended use

Orders confirmed before 3pm on a working day leave the London facility the same day on a free tracked next-day service within the UK; international orders ship within forty-eight hours on a tracked courier. Lyophilised material is stable at ambient temperature for far longer than any tracked service takes, so no cold chain is required in transit — refrigeration matters on arrival and after reconstitution.

This compound is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research by qualified personnel. It is not a medicine, holds no marketing authorisation, and is not intended for human or veterinary consumption. No dosing, administration or clinical guidance is provided.
